The WordPress default post says, Hello World! In my case, it’s not true at all. I have been blogging for almost six years now (and counting), using my other blog – i think. i do. i feel. i share, which is formerly known as “A Life Less Than Ordinary”. Why the change in the title? First – I do not consider my life less than ordinary anymore as soon as I relocated here in the US. Second – most of my ideas and experiences are that of a woman enjoying the best things in life.
My other blog has frequent visitors and readers. I get about 300 hits a day, considering it does not rely on any traffic-boosting sites, like Entrecard and the rest. I do nothing at all, but procrastinate. It has thousand of comments, bad and good, from people all over the world. Yes, it is my pride and joy. BUT, there is one thing that kills me though. I am not getting anything from it, money-wise. Why? It is against WordPress.Com’s TOS for bloggers using its platform to accept any form of income-generating opportunities. I did try, and boy, they caught me. They suspended my blog for quite a while. I called and begged them to restore it, and they did. After that, I halted paid posting at once. Sucks, isn’t it
I have been contemplating of getting an account with a web hosting company to house an income-generating blog years ago. Last night, it happened (with the help of my techie husband).
This is it! This is my very first entry in my new turf. I will be posting more, and just blabber my way out whenever boredom hits me.
See you later!
