My 8-year old little mushroom is a trip most of the time. She utters things just to hear herself talk (as what my husband says). To give this blog a lighter side, I will share to you some of my conversations with her, as it happens.

Over the weekend, Amber and I went to OfficeDepot after her demo practice at her martial art school. I like going to this store. For one, it is just a walking distance from our home. Second, they have their 1-dollar deals, just like most of the stores. Lastly, I like organizing home office-related stuffs.

As we walked along the aisle, I saw a chore board. It is basically a designed white board and an erasable pen set with a weekly calendar format.

Me : Look! A chore board! We could use this at home!
Amber : What for?
Me: For chores! You need to start doing chores, sweetie.
Amber: Mommy, I am TOO BUSY thinking about chores now. I have homework. I feed Blackberry (her guinea pig). That is too much!
Me: Whaaattt???? Wait ‘til your daddy hears this….(laughing out loud).

I know, she is a spoiled brat. She knows that, I always save her from doing chores even the littlest of things. Honestly, I am having a hard time in disciplining her. Just a begging face from her, I succumb to her plea and desire.
