It’s a long and tiring day. Amber just wrapped up a demo stint, along with her co-Tae Kwon Do classmates, at the Ormond Chamber Carnevale in Daytona Destination. Trivia : The place is geographically situated in Ormond Beach, and not in Daytona Beach. Daytona Destination is just the name, perhaps because Daytona is known for its annual Bike Week and Biketoberfest celebrations.
It’s my first time to go to this place, and I was so excited. My wandering eyes could not stop looking at the people. Bikers swamped the place. Obviously, it’s a bikers’ haven here Volusia County. It was founded by Bruce Rossmeyer, the biggest Harley-Davidson dealership in the US. Most of the regular businesses are about big bikes and bikers. Anyway, I did enjoy my day there, not because I love to see bikers, but because of the different booths of businesses in Ormond Beach. Well, some businesses from the neighboring cities were there too.

I ended the day with a smile on my face. Finally, I ate at the Daytona Pig Stand Bar-B-Q. Whenever we drive by US1, I always asked my husband about this place. He is not a pig or pork fan at all, so he never recommended the place. My review? It’s just like any other BBQ places. Am I going back there to dine and unwind? No.
Hopefully, tomorrow will not be a busy day for us. We’ll probably just stay at home and sleep all day long.
