As months go by, I find myself becoming a stage mother to my daughter, Amber. Being my only kid, she deserves everything that a mother wants for their child. Whatever she wants, my husband and I are just here to support. One of her interests – martial arts. Since she likes using her (long) legs as a tool of defense, we enrolled her in a Tae Kwon Do class. Surprisingly, she never gets tired practicing her moves. It is a money well-spent on our part.

This morning, I was busy preparing her stuff for the martial art class demo in the afternoon. She is part of the school’s demo team. I am one proud mother. Anyway, I bought three patches for her gi. Since I have no sewing machine, I did it manually. It took me about three hours to do it. But as soon as I was done with it, I was happy. One thing is missing though, I do not have a Philippine flag patch. It would be cool. I guess, I just have to look online.
