It is frustrating when our children do not eat whatever we put on their plates. They rather have the sweets and the junks hidden in our pantries. Healthy food as usually not palatable to kids’ taste. Since children try to shy away from changes, we, parents, find ways to solve this problem in a discreet and subtle way.
One good alternative for sweets is a sweet petite pickles. These tiny cucumbers are very interesting to their eyes. For a salty craving, a few pieces of the hamburger dill chips will fill it. Probably, the most challenging part of this task is to have the acquired-taste needed to like it. We can introduce it one piece at a time.
Adults also enjoy munching on these crunchies. This is a way to cut back on our snacking budget. This is what I have been doing to my little mushroom. Just remember – anything should be in moderation.
