Today, June 21st marks the summer solstice and the longest day of the year. It officially starts the summer season.
In my household, it signals the end of shopping for summer must-haves for our little mushroom. Actually, it ended months ago for me. I bought her summer clothing (3 sets of swim suits) during off-season, so I can get it at a discounted price. Of course, I bought 2 size bigger than her (then) current size. Kids grow so fast.
What about the suncreen? I procured a minimum of SPF50 for both face and body application. With the intense heat of the sun, this is the most important item in the must-haves list.
Hopefully, this will be an enjoyable summer for her.
