This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.
In response to Express Script’s decision of deleting Walgreens from its pharmacy network, the prominent pharmacy counteracted this by launching its Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens. For an annual membership fee, we can access to discounted retail prices to more than 8,000 brand names and generic medications. For $35.00, we can have a family membership which covers our immediate family, dependents under the age of 23 and our pets. For $20.00, we can have an individual membership plan. There is no catch at all. If fact, if our total savings during the duration of the membership is less than the annual fee that we paid, Walgreens will refund the difference.
Since this program is not intended as a substitute for an insurance plan, it is still advisable to use our existing insurance plan. This only serves as a way to save, especially when we are uninsured or our medication is not covered by our insurance. Aside from the aforementioned benefits, we can also earn bonuses on our card every time we buy Walgreens and Nice! Brand products and photofinishing services.

We can start our membership by registering online or by visiting a local Walgreens pharmacy. Also, we can follow Walgreens on Twitter and Walgreens on Facebook to show our support.
